About Us

Who We Are

The Town of North has a Mayor-Council (strong mayor) form of government under which voters go to polls in November of every odd-numbered year.  The Council members are elected at-large and serve four year terms. The Mayor is primarily responsible for the efficient operation of the town government.

The Mayor and Council make policy and enact laws, rules and regulations in order to provide for future community and economic growth.  The Council also provides direction and support for the orderly and efficient operation of town services. Each Councilmember has adopted a project in order to effect the future of the town.
